As we continue to endure the battles that impact our profession as school social workers, please take the time to contact your local and state representatives. Your voice matters. Together we can move mountains. www.ncleg.gov

It is time to reach out to your legislators!

The North Carolina state legislatures returned to session the week of January 23, 2023. There are many new House and Senate members. They are unaware of the social work profession and the impact that social workers have on the lives of the children and families that we work with. It is important that we introduce ourselves to them and tell them what we do and how it is important that they support social workers. You should also thank them for representing your district and the work that they do for the people of your district. You can call or email your legislator.
